PERRYVILLE — Perryville’s 5th Company Brewing welcomed nearly 50 fighters from across the country to compete head-to-head in torchlit ‘knight fights’ as part of the brewery’s renaissance-themed Blood and Suds event this past Saturday.
“This sport is all love,” said Greg Fadic, a fighter from Frederick, Md. “Regardless of the savage violence, we all love each other and have a great time competing.”
The outdoor event hosted dozens of vendors selling a variety of seasonal and renaissance themed items along with food and beer.
